Microbusinesses pay a bookkeeper to manually categorize the same vendor transactions every month because every AI bookkeeping product either acts silently with no per-decision explanation or requires a full-service accountant contract. The liability problem is not that the AI is wrong most of the time, it is that the owner cannot tell which entries are wrong without reviewing all of them.
